Sabratact History

Sabratact was created by Forest Baker during the 1970's and developed into its current form in 1983. In 1984 he wrote an article for Dragon Magazine which was published under the title "Score One for Sabratact" in Issue 100, August 1985.

Also in 1984, ABC Sports taped a Special Presentation feature on the first Sabratact club, in New Haven, Connecticut. This segment was hosted by Skip Church and was released to ABC's Electronic Daily Feed during July of 1985.

Starting in the Fall of 1985 several thousand individuals and various organizations contacted the company and began working with Forest Baker to develop the sport. In 1986 he taped a short television special which aired in the Chicago market and reported on his Sabratact club in that city. Since that time Forest Baker has continued to manage Sabratact and to communicate with interested parties. In 1987, he relocated to the Silicon Valley area, in California. A television pilot for the live action sport is in pre-production.
